We offer classes divided into three different age groups; two year-olds, three year-olds and four/five year olds. Our two year-olds class is a parent child experienced class in which parents will be asked to participate.
The three year-old and up classes are teacher and child only. Parents are invited to relax in our parlor or may run errands. if you choose to leave the premises, please make sure to return by class end to avoid overlapping class sessions.
Exposure to literature is vital to language development and reading readiness for young children. Each class will begin with a story. The art projects will be based on the story read.
- 10 minute greeting time and story followed by an overview of the art centers planned for the hour.
- 40 minute arts and crafts time
- 10 minute sing along and closing
Open art classes are offered several times a week. These classes can be attended individually. This hour offers various art activities such as; finger painting, playdoh, collage making, and easel painting. This is a teacher supervised time in which children can choose the activities in which they want to participate.
